How are a Baseline session and Individual Training related?

Our Baseline Sessions are used for your trainer to get to know you as a player. We use the Baseline Session to get to know your strengths and weaknesses so we can map out a training path to help you reach your goals! Baseline Sessions are a cornerstone of your Individual Training plan as they ensure your plan is tailored to your skill level and aspirations.

What is the difference between a Baseline Session and a Class Trial?

A Baseline Session is the starting point for Individual Training geared towards competitive players, while a Class Trial is the starting point for group lessons that are geared toward beginners and recreational players. Additional details about each:

Baseline Session

Our Baseline Session is the first step towards starting your TOCA Training Journey and is an individual experience to determine your player's strengths and opportunities. TOCA Training and Baseline Sessions are best suited for players (ages 7 through adult) who play at a competitive level. For kids, this is usually club/select team players or those who aspire to compete at that level.

Class Trial

Our Class Trial is the first step towards starting TOCA Soccer Classes and is a group experience. TOCA Soccer Classes are best suited for players age 1-13 who are just getting started, more comfortable at a rec team level, or are casual players.

How much does a Baseline Session or a Class cost?

They are free of charge. New players are invited to start with a no-cost, no-commitment, first Baseline Session or first Class.

  • TOCA Training: At most centers, Individual TOCA Training Memberships start at $199 per month.
  • TOCA Classes: At most centers, soccer classes start at $99/month.
What should my child wear to a Baseline Session or Class Trial?

Clothes

Make sure your child wears comfortable clothing they can be active in.

Shoes

Please wear flat soccer or athletic shoes, as cleats are not allowed on the turf.

What do I need to bring to a Baseline Session or Class Trial?

Make sure to bring water to stay hydrated during your Baseline Session or Class!

Is there an age requirement?
Adult Soccer Leagues

Players need to be 18 years or older to participate in our TOCA Adult Leagues. We offer different age groups such as 18+, 30+, and older.

What makes Pickup at TOCA unique?
Adult Pickup Soccer

You don't have to worry about organizing the games and figuring out the rules. We have a Pickup host who creates a friendly, welcoming environment by staying close to the event.  Teams are mixed and matched using promotion, relegation, and sometimes king of the court rules.  Every player gets ample playing time with caps on the number of players we accept.

At most centers, soccer classes start at $99/month.The first class is FREE for new participants. You're invited to experience TOCA Soccer classes at no cost and with no commitment. Sign up today.

What leagues are available?
Adult Soccer Leagues

Most centers have leagues designated for Men, Women, and Coed (mixed). There are also different age groups such as 18+, 30+, and older. We also offer youth leagues. Please visit your center's registration page to see what's on offer this season near you!

Do I need to bring a team or can I come solo?
Adult Pickup Soccer

Both! You can play at TOCA on your own or you can bring a group of friends. We want to make sure everyone has a great time, so if you bring a large group - be prepared to get split up.

Absolutely! We love helping individuals and small groups find and form teams. Please contact your nearest center for more details.

What should I know if it's my first time coming to an Pickup session at TOCA?
Adult Pickup Soccer

You're going to have a great time! But also...

  • Be sure to check in and sign a waiver when you arrive
  • Games are 5 to 10 minutes. No goal limit
  • Stay on your feet. Don't foul
  • Kick-ins only
  • Promotion/Relegation if we're using more than 1 field
  • Have fun & be ready to make friends!

How do you sign up for a membership*?
Adult Soccer Leagues

Sign up online through DaySmart Register or in-center with a TOCA team member. If registering online, select the league or pickup session you want to start with. At checkout, you will be prompted to purchase a membership.

Do you need to register in advance?
Adult Pickup Soccer

To be guaranteed a spot, register and pay in advance. Walk-ins are welcome, assuming there's space available.Please dress your child and yourself (if attending a parent-participation class) in close-toed shoes and bring a water bottle.

What does a free class look like?

Our classes are always age-appropriate so each class differs based on the age of the participants. However, classes will generally include warm-ups, drills, and fun games.Please dress your child and yourself (if attending a parent-participation class) in close-toed shoes and bring a water bottle.

How do you sign up for a team?
Adult Soccer Leagues

Your Team Captain will create your team and then invite you to join. As part of the sign-up process, you will be prompted to purchase a membership, if you do not already have one.

What does a free Baseline Session look like?
Individual Soccer Training

When you arrive at TOCA, you'll be treated like a pro. You'll have your very own indoor training space equipped with our training technology and a certified TOCA trainer to guide you through your session.

Your trainer will get to know you as a player – your goals, aspirations and soccer history. Then, we'll hop in the studio and start training!

We use the Baseline Session to get to know your strengths and weaknesses so we can map out a path to help you improve as quickly as possible.

What happens if I cancel my membership* mid-season?
Adult Soccer Leagues

Your League Memberships will be valid until the next monthly renewal date. After that, players who cancel their membership are not eligible to play in leagues unless they pay a substitute fee each game.

Can I buy a membership* if I only want unlimited pickup?
Adult Soccer Leagues

Yes, the Champions Membership is still a great value. And it allows you to join one league team at any point.

Who is TOCA Individual Training best suited for?
Individual Soccer Training

TOCA’s best-in-class, tech-enhanced Individual Training is designed for players (ages 7 through adult) who play at a competitive level. For kids, this is usually club/select team players or those who aspire to compete at that level.

Participants range from kids playing on competitive teams to future & current professional players, many of whom continue to train at TOCA to sharpen their skills.

After your initial free Baseline Session, where we get to know your strengths and opportunities for improvement, we’ll map out an individualized training path aimed at fast improvement.
