A Huntington Beach native, Mooney played college soccer at UC Santa Cruz and Orange Coast College. In his soccer career, Mooney prefers the center back or central defensive midfield position. He cheers for Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Jayla's game has dramatically improved with TOCA. She is a much more confident player overall; her footwork especially in tight spaces is much stronger as well as her strikes and volleys. Her accuracy with the ball is also much better.
