On Monday, August 24th, TOCA Torrance will be open for business.
After careful consideration, we are thrilled to announce the reopening of our TOCA Training Center in Torrance. Located at the LA Galaxy Soccer Center, TOCA Torrance is our longest serving TOCA facility. Since 2014 we have trained with thousands of players, of all levels, and delivered millions of TOCA balls.
If you know the LA Galaxy Soccer Center, you know that it is a tightly run ship. I caught up with the general manager, Jessica Campbell, to hear about the safety measures that are being taken regarding COVID-19. Before I could enter the building, my temperature was taken, hands sanitized and recent social activity questioned – a regulation that is asked of all entering guests.
When you enter the soccer center there is no mistaking where you can find TOCA Training. In 2019 TOCA Torrance got a makeover. A new paint job in the front and back, some very eye-catching new signage, and most notably, an enormous stadium mural to make the TOCA experience even more realistic and exciting.
Also relatively new is TOCA Torrance General Manager, Sean Datson. Joining us from Challenger Sports in Jan of 2020 (oh, how long ago that feels), Sean is an experienced, USSF C Licensed coach and an avid West Ham fan. He has taken the time to thoroughly prepare his staff on the etiquette of training in the current climate. TOCA Trainers will wear a mask at all times and keep a distance of 6 feet or more from players during training sessions. The TOCA desk will have hand sanitizer readily available and the TOCA equipment will be properly cleaned every hour.
Sean and his staff are extremely excited to see you and get you back to training.
Pre-booking is available immediately by calling 310-997-7009, and online booking will resume on Monday, August 24th via your MBO app.
